I find it a big waste when I don’t work on my old artworks so I’ve decided to recycle them into small pieces of art. This will be my first one and it’s a good thing I posted it on a thursday. It fits the “throwbackthursday” trend that everyone is talking about so i’ll just post old artworks haha~ Plus I don’t like my old baby photos, I look like a cute Chukie.
Aside from listening to KPOP and urban music here’s one of my favorite genres, EDM or electronic dance music. I don’t really know if it’s a genre, specifically speaking, but all I know that I can really dance in a club with it. So here’s my first album cover of my good friend DJ Amistocino! Close up line art shot of my old entry and I even named the character, Octopus hair. It was really funny because I was just experimenting on my hair once and it turned out like this. So I just said, hey that’s a good hair style for my character but not for me ♥
For quite some time, everyone was into the galaxy print! Star there, star here, sheer shirt there, galaxy print leggings there…wah! Even the biggest fashawn bloggers are into it and coincidentally I saw a post of Kryz Uy of kryzuy.com wearing almost the same outfit/style as my character! Haha how cool is that?
Meet my current FAVE artist Yuka Chocomoo! Her artworks are amazing and the line work is soooo precise!! Wish I could draw just like her! Plus her fashion style is really kawaii as well! Anyways! Her client list includes prestigious Japanese fashion brands like Joyrich, Hellz Bellz, Milkfed and even magazine Nylon Japan. She’s been doing live painting sessions in some of the events and I must say she really attracts big crowds with her entertaining characters! Even celebrities like Nicki Minaj are already into her!
